The RoyoCUT's
innovative compact design, state-of-the-art electronics and total
operator safety features ensures years of trouble-free operation.
The RoyoCUT proudly
boasts the very finest industry components. Featured are Microcut
Jr Electronics, Telemechanique electrical components, Parker
Hannifin and Vickers Hydraulics, all world-renowned names with
distribution and service world wide.
The power clamp and
the cut are both hydraulically operated. The clamping pressure
ranges from 220 lb to 5.900 lb and is easily adjustable to cut
different materials. A false plate clamp is supplied to prevent
pressure sensitive stock from marking. This system delivers a high
level of efficiency with a minimum of wearable moving parts —
the machine is virtually maintenance free.

CONSTRUCTION
The main parts of
the RoyoCUT are constructed using the best combination of
materials available including a cast iron one piece solid frame,
clamp, knifebar, and a heavy duty steel table with a cast iron
guide insert that ensures ever lasting smooth displacement of the
backgauge.
The knife support
is a cast iron beam that is precision finished on all sides.
Ultramodern engineering guarantees maximum efficiency that enables
it to absorb the cutting effort and ensures a perfect and straight
cut. The RoyoCUT also features a backgauge lubrication pump,
a slot closing devise, a conic wedge to adjust backgauge wear and
a finely threaded adjustable counter not to allow adjustments to
eliminate play and ensured precision cutting over many years of
operation — all design features
normally associated with larger guillotines.
LARGE FRONT AND
SIDE TABLES
The extra large
front and the side tables of the RoyoCUT provide the operator with
ample working space to handle large stock sizes with ease. The
tables re covered with stainless steel, eliminating rust build-up
and unnecessary maintenance.
PROGRAMMING
The RoyoCUT is
equipped with a Microcut jr. — the
most reliable, user friendly and popular cutter controller
available. Its single board design is the estate-of-the-art in
computer technology and is proven in thousands of installations
worldwide.
The Microcut jr.
stores 999 jobs with 2.000 total cuts and guarantees accuracy of ±
0.00s"
(0.05 mm). You may program your jobs by keyboard entry or by
cutting your first lift. It features a simple business card set up
and an automatic stock eject to save the operator from reaching
under the knife. All stored jobs are protected by a non-volatile
memory chip in the event of a power failure.
SAFETY
Safety is paramount
and the RoyoCUT exceeds all safety requirements. Two hands
push-button control is required to activate the clamp and knife,
should either button be released during the cut cycle, the blade
and clamp will automatically return to the uppermost position. A
spring loaded foot pedal allows you to mechanically clamp the
stock to safety check the cut without the motor or hydraulic
pressure. Furthermore, the RoyoCUT features two hand control for
hydraulic only clamp with separate thumb operated switch for
cutting if desired.
The hydraulic
system operates only during the cut cycle and all motors remain
switched off during loading and unloading of stock.
An exclusive safety
feature of the RoyoCUT is the ability to perform the knife change
with the motor turned off, eliminating the possibility of an
accidental cycle. The slotted knife bar design makes the knife
change quick and easy.
The safety of the
operator, helper and bystanders is further guaranteed by a rear
table guard. All RoyoCUT cutters are provided with a main power
on/off key to prevent unauthorized use.
