The user-friendly DB-280 brings professional perfect binding to your desktop. Producing up to 200 books per hour, the automated DB-280 is ideal for short-run and on-demand printing applications.
Simply place flat sheets into the clamp where pages are gripped automatically and the binding process is started. A double pass over the roughening cutter provides superior notching to ensure superb glue peneration for a perfect bind. Its clamping and nipping system also ensures consistent square binds.
Innovative features of the DB-280 include a dust extractor as well as two glue drums that provide a more durable bind and additional glue capacity. With a quick push of a button, the DB-280's perfect binding capabilities can convert to a padding function where only the precise amount of glue is added to complete perfectly bound note pads.

The DPB-500PUR Perfect Binder combines all the automated features of the DPB-500 with the conveniences of a sealed PUR application system.
Duplo has added a PUR version to its fully automatic, single clamp DPB-500 Perfect Binder, making it efficient for binding books printed on digital and coated stocks. The PUR glue provides a high pull-strength ensuring each page is firmly bound and can be opened flat without any risk of page detachment.
The closed tank system offers huge cost and productivity benefits compared to open-tank systems, as it does not require draining after each session which incurs wasted material and downtime. Just like Duplo's standard-adhesive DPB-500 Perfect Binder, it runs at speeds of up to 525 cyles an hour and is capable of binding a wide range of materials with a maximum booklet size of 14.17" x 12.60" and a minimum size of 4.72" x 4.72". Cover sheet sizes range from 4.72" x 9.84" and 14.17" x 27.40".
The versatility of the fully automated perfect binder results in a reduction in set-up times and costs, making it perfect for short run and variable print as well as longer runs. One of the machine's key attributes is its easy-to-use touch-screen controls, which facilitate a 35 second set-up between programs, resulting in a book-bound quality finish with minimal operator skills.

The user-friendly touch screen control panel simplifies operation and provides many useful features to augment production. Designed for both flat sheets and signatures, its unique pneumatic clamping carriage and cover nipping system ensures quick setups and easy changeovers for short to medium runs. Unique to the MR-720PUR is an automatic clamping and nipping thickness adjustment that is ideal for the on demand market because it can accommodate book thicknesses from 2 sheets to 1.97" without any adjustments. With PUR capabilities, this unit is perfect for the digital print market.
The sturdy interlocking safety cover provides a shielded design for greater work protection. Additionally, four photo-beams provide a safety guard at the loading station that stops the machine instantly in case of accidental contact with the machine's operation.

The Quadrimax II Perfect Binder is ideal for on-demand medium to long runs. It features a single-operator, four-clamp design, touch-screen operation, and centrally located controls that allow smooth processing up to 1,200 books per hour. A reliable top-feed suction cover feeder accommodates book thicknesses from two sheets to 1.8 inches with no adjustments necessary. A thermostatically-controlled glue application system ensures precise and consistent glue application with each book. The Quadrimax II also features automated side gluing and automatically adjustable nipping guides.
