The fully integrated communication between the DSF-2000 and DBM-120SxS Sheet By Sheet Bookletmaker allows for full control of the entire system through the DSF-2000 control panel. In addition, the Automatic Size Change (ASC) will communicate with the DSF-2000 indicating the sheet size being fed, and automatically perform the size changeover on the bookletmaker. The automatic setting DBM-120SxS Bookletmaker and DBM-120T Trimmer offer speed, reliability, and productivity to help increase profits. With the DSF-2000, the DBM-120SxS is the ideal digital finishing solution for short and medium runs.

Introducing the ultimate document sheet feeder unlike any other, the DSF-2000 System combines the advantage of both in-line and off-line finishing solutions by transforming pre-collated sheets (taken directly from digital copiers or printers) into professional booklets while maintaining set integrity.

The DSF-2000 feeds up to 200 sheets per minute directly into the DBM-500, DBM-350, or DBM-120SxS bookletmakers. Demonstrating its superb versatility to handle a wide variety of paper sizes and weights, the DSF-2000 primary feed tray features a 7.78" loading capacity (2,000 sheets of 20 lb. bond), while the cover feed tray holds a 2.36" (600 sheets of 20 lb. bond) capacity.

Connected to the DBM-350, the DSF-2000 becomes one powerful digital print finishing system, offering complete flexibility by accepting both set-by-set of the traditional offset market and sheet-by-sheet pre-collated output from digital printers with mid-range production.

The SCC (slit/cut/crease) bookletmaking system is unique in bringing a slit/cut/crease function to the near-line bookletmaking process. Incorporating a DSF-2000 Document Sheet Feeder (with optional barcode reader), the SCC unit, a DBM-500 Bookletmaker, and a DBM-500T Trimmer, the SCC is the perfect solution to any applications requiring a full-bleed finish.

Designed principally for the digital color market, the SCC-equipped bookletmaking system takes care of two common issues associated with digital color output. First, the SCC unit side-slits and trims the head and foot of each sheet providing an accurate full-bleed trim which is registered by a CCD camera to the image, rather than to the physical dimensions of the sheet; thus, correcting image shift. Second, the SCC module can crease the cover and innermost sheets of the booklet, or all the sheets in the booklet so that image cracking on the fold-line is prevented.
