Powdair 3™
 The
Powdair 3™ spray systems has the unique Air Blowdown feature which
allows a timed burst of air to be automatically released onto each sheet
of paper, eliminating paper roll and curl. A burst of air is delivered
when the gripper bar releases the sheet, cleaning the chain delivery
path., allowing faster press speeds. The Air Blowdown can be operated
independently of the powder spray and is especially effective when
printing on lighter weight stock. Powdair
3™ has several other features worth mentioning: Adjustable
Time Length of Control - Controls the length of powder spray onto each
printed sheet, and permits a variable spray length from a letter head to a
maximum sheet size, or any length in between.
Indicator Light - Provides a visual indication when the system is
spraying powder to assist in the monitoring and adjustment of the length
of spray.
Powder Concentration control - A unique manifold and needle valve
configuration precisely controls the powder quantity, allowing the printer
to adjust spray levels ranging from a fine powder mist to a heavy powder
concentration.
Auto-Speed Sensing - Once the length of spray is determined, the
Auto-Speed sensing device detects any changes in press speeds during a run
and automatically makes the necessary spray length adjustments.
Automatic Compressor Shut-off - Each powder spray attachment is
supplied with a separate compressor which operates during the impression
cycle and automatically powers off when the press is not on impression.
