TEMPEST
Hot Air System

The development of the Tempest Hot Air Dryer provides off-set press users the benefits of drying without the inherent risks associated with IR dryers. It utilizes PTC thermistors which produce high-level heat, instead of IR elements to accelerate the drying process.

WaterBoy is a non-refrigerated circulator which helps maintain a fresh supply of fountain solution to the pan for maximum print quality. The large five gallon tank allows less refilling of water containers and increased efficiency. The larger capacity of fountain solution also slows down the contamination process by constantly drawing the contamination out of the pan and filtering them throughout the larger amount of solution.
